Xiled Ones was formed in January 2023 by two creators, Xile Grayson and Xile Shadow. Grayson approached Shadow with the idea of starting a channel inspired by a handful of creators they both admired, including one they felt had left a significant void in the YouTube landscape. The goal was to build on that inspiration by expanding into mods, indie titles, and retro games.

With Xile Shadow currently on an indefinite break, Grayson has taken the reins and is focused on growing the channel in a new direction, one built around reviews that break from the usual mold and turn each video into an experience of its own.
